Jessica JH Roller is a painter living in Dayton, OH. She paints local flora and fauna in an intentionally primitive manner using bold, contemporary
hues. Her work is playful and honest and is intended to excite the imagination and inspire true feeling and virtue.
Although Jessica spent her childhood obsessively drawing, she never had any intentions of becoming an artist. It was not until six years ago that
she began painting, after adopting two cats. She had just graduated from college with a degree in philosophy and had not had any formal training
in painting. However, her fascination with her new kittens compelled her to start drawing, and then painting. She continued to develop her painting
skills and style throughout the next four years of searching for herself and her career goals. Finally, she decided that she had already found what
she was looking for through making art. Over the last two years, Jessica has been a full-time artist. She has sold over a hundred paintings to art
lovers and collectors across the country through art festivals and gallery exhibits.
